Soccer Recap: Nekoosa Comes Up Short

Nekoosa was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against the Adams-Friendship Green Devils, falling 5-0. Nekoosa were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Adams-Friendship apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.

Nekoosa's loss dropped their record down to 5-4-1. As for Adams-Friendship, they pushed their record up to 6-2-1 with the victory, which was their third straight at home.

Coming up, Nekoosa will welcome Mauston at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Adams-Friendship, they didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next match, a 6-1 defeat against Reedsburg on the 22nd.
