Nobody could stop Olive Lightfoot on Tuesday as she struck out ten batters over six innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off three hits. As if that's not impressive enough, the pitching appearance was her sixth in a row with seven or more strikeouts. On the year, she has an ERA of 3.25 over 93.2 innings pitched.

Looking ahead, Lightfoot and Berkeley will square off against Alhambra at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Lightfoot has dominated as far as strikeouts are concerned (she's averaged 6.6 per game this season), but she's got her work cut out for her considering the Bulldogs have only allowed 4.08 per game this season.
