Red Bud came tearing into Friday's contest with 21 straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Highland Bulldogs. The Musketeers were shut out 2-0 the last time they took on the Bulldogs, so the Musketeers were just returning the favor.

Peyton Kreher paced Red Bud's offense, picking up ten kills. Kreher got some help from Brynn Klein and her 23 assists. Kreher was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Red Bud's victory bumped their record up to 28-1. As for Highland, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 16-13.

Coincidentally, Red Bud and Highland will both be playing O'Fallon the next time they take the court. The Musketeers will head out to face the Panthers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, while the Bulldogs will head out to face them at 8:30 a.m. on Saturday.
