Mount Tabor had already won seven in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 19.9 points) and they went ahead and made it eight on Tuesday. They claimed a resounding 79-41 win over the Parkland Mustangs. The Spartans have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 12 matchups by 20 points or more this season.

When it comes to explaining why Parkland lost, don't look at Brock Jackson. Despite the final result, he went 7-for-17 en route to 21 points and five rebounds. JoShaun Williamson was another key player, putting up eight points.

Mount Tabor's victory was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 19-4. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 73.8 points over those games. As for Parkland, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven games, which has put a noticeable dent in their 6-16 record this season.

Looking ahead, Mount Tabor will be playing at home against West Forsyth at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in West Forsyth's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last six contests. As for Parkland, they will venture away from home to challenge Glenn at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Parkland is facing Glenn at the right time seeing as Glenn is stuck on an 11-game losing streak.
