Baseball Game Preview: Glendale Cardinals vs. Carl Hayden Community Falcons

The Glendale Cardinals will challenge the Carl Hayden Community Falcons at 3:45 p.m. on Friday. Glendale is coming into the contest on a five-game losing streak.

Glendale's last matchup with Sierra Linda could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's game on Wednesday. The Cardinals came up short against the Bulldogs, falling 8-1.

Glendale saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Matthew Najera, who went 2-for-3 with one double.

Meanwhile, Carl Hayden Community lost 11-3 to Alhambra on Wednesday. The Falcons have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Glendale's defeat dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Carl Hayden Community, their loss dropped their record down to 9-5.

Glendale couldn't quite get it done against Carl Hayden Community when the teams last played back in April of 2022 as they fell 6-1. Can the Cardinals avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
