Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Jefferson). They put the hurt on the Roosevelt Roughriders with a sharp 17-9 win on Wednesday. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest victory of the season.

Jefferson's win ended a six-game drought on the road and puts them at 4-9. As for Roosevelt, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost nine of their last ten matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-14 record this season.

Jefferson didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, an 11-8 victory against Franklin on the 2nd. As for Roosevelt, they have also already played their next contest, an 8-1 defeat against Lincoln on the 1st.
