The loss continues a trend for the Honkers in their meetings with the Trojans: they've now lost four in a row.

Meanwhile, East Nicolaus waltzed into their contest on Tuesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They never let the Honkers get on the board and left with an 11-0 win. The result was nothing new for the Spartans, who have now won four matches by nine runs or more so far this season.

Colby Borges looked comfortable as he tossed one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up a single hit in five consecutive appearances.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Braden Hardwick, who scored two runs and stole two bases while going 2-for-3. That's the most stolen bases he has posted since back in February. Another player making a difference was Lane Dunbar, who scored three runs while getting on base in two of his three plate appearances.
