Volleyball Recap: Chloe Watts Leads a Balanced Effort to Beat Brindlee Mountain

There's no place like home for Hayden, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Saturday. They came out on top against the Brindlee Mountain Lions by a score of 2-0 on Saturday. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Wildcats as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

Hayden easily took the first set, but they let things get interesting in the other. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-12, 25-17.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Hayden to victory, but perhaps none more so than Chloe Watts, who had eight kills and three aces. Watts is crushing it when it comes to kills: she's had at least five every time she's taken the court this season.

Hayden's victory bumped their record up to 15-9. As for Brindlee Mountain, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 10-14.

Hayden has already played their next game, a 2-0 win against Vinemont on the 20th. As for Brindlee Mountain, they will take on Douglas in a tournament on Monday.
