Basketball Recap: Governor Livingston Comes Up Short

Governor Livingston was the 51-43 winner over Mount St. Dominic Academy when they last played one another back in December of 2021, but their luck changed this time around. The Governor Livingston Highlanders took a 38-30 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Mount St. Dominic Academy Lions on Monday. The loss was the Highlanders' first of the season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Governor Livingston fell to 2-1. As for Mount St. Dominic Academy, they now also have a winning record of 2-1.

Governor Livingston and Bernards will round out the year against one another at at 12:00 p.m. on Friday. Bernards will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Governor Livingston surely won't give up without a fight. As for Mount St. Dominic Academy, they will challenge Scotch Plains-Fanwood at 12:00 p.m. on Friday.
