Recap: St. Francis Spartans vs. Glenbard North Panthers

The St. Francis Spartans posted their biggest win yet this season on Monday. They really took it to Glenbard North for the full four quarters, racking up a 60-17 victory on the road. With St. Francis ahead 41-4 at the half, the game was all but over already.

St. Francis' win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Mia Quaranta, who scored 12 points along with two steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Quaranta has scored all season. Arianna Naples was another key contributor, scoring 12 points along with two steals.

St. Francis has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a massive bump to their 13-9 record this season. As for Glenbard North, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-16.

St. Francis won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Resurrection at 7:00 p.m. on January 16th. Resurrection is looking to tack on another W to their four-game streak on the road. As for Glenbard North, they will take on St. Charles East at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. St. Charles East presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Glenbard North in Illinois (St. Charles East is ranked 32nd, while Glenbard North is ranked 444th).
