Chaffee put another one in the bag on Wednesday to keep their perfect season alive. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Bell City Cubs a 9-0 shutout. The Red Devils might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six games by eight runs or more this season.

Chaffee's win was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 8-0. As for Bell City, they now have a losing record of 3-4.

Coming up, Chaffee will look to defend their home field on Friday against Advance at 4:30 p.m. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Red Devils 1.2, the Hornets 3.6) so any runs scored will be well earned.
