Basketball Recap: Incline Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Incline extended their losing streak to four on Tuesday, dropping them down to 2-6. They were dealt a 64-29 loss at the hands of the Fernley Vaqueros. The Highlanders were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 44-13.

Several Highlanders players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Halen Hanson, who posted 11 points along with five rebounds and three blocks. The team also got some help courtesy of Zephyr Denton, who put up six points.

As for Fernley, their victory bumped their record up to 7-2. They have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four matchups by 20 points or more this season.

Fernley's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Bryce Dunagan-Stephens, who shot 40% from the field on his way to 18 points and six boards. Another player making a difference was Sheldon Jacobson, who scored 11 points.

Coming up, Incline will venture away from home to face off against Lowry at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Highlanders will need to watch out since the Buckaroos have now posted at least 55 points in their last three contests. As for Fernley, they will be home for the holidays to greet Spanish Springs at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
