Softball Recap: Arlington Spy Ponders vs. Lexington Minutemen
Arlington lost a heartbreaker the last time they played Lexington, but it's fair to say they got their revenge given the result of Tuesday's game. The Spy Ponders blew past the Minutemen 13-7 on Tuesday. The high-scoring effort was just what the Spy Ponders needed considering they were shut out in their previous match.
Soline Fisher made a splash no matter where she played. She struck out 14 batters over seven innings while giving up four earned (and three unearned) runs off eight hits. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in nine consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 3-for-4 with one run. That's the most hits she has posted since back in May of 2024.
