Baseball Recap: Great Bend Comes Up Short

Great Bend was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 6-5 heartbreaker at the hands of the Manhattan Indians. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Indians this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 8-2 on Wednesday.

Great Bend's loss dropped their record down to 14-10. As for Manhattan, the victory was the ninth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 16-4-2.

As of now, neither Great Bend nor the Indians have any future games scheduled.
