Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask the Cobras). Everything went their way against the Sports Leadership & Management Giants on Wednesday as the Sports Leadership & Management Cobras made off with an 8-0 win. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for the Cobras considering their one-goal performance the contest before.
Narjiss Gharnit and Mariana Rosales scored all eight of the Cobras' goals, bringing their combined season tally to 14 goals.
The Cobras' victory bumped their record up to 5-8-1. As for the Giants, they dropped their record down to 0-8 with the defeat, which was their eighth straight on the road.
The Cobras does not have any more games scheduled as of now. The Giants will take on Somerset Prep in a holiday battle at at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
