Volleyball Recap: Fayette Academy Comes Up Short

Fayette Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to the St. Benedict at Auburndale Eagles.

Fayette Academy was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the first set very close. The final score came out to 25-23, 25-16, 25-16.

Fayette Academy's loss dropped their record down to 2-14. As for St. Benedict at Auburndale, they moved to 8-11 with that victory, which also ended their four-match losing streak.

Fayette Academy didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 defeat against West Memphis Christian on the 2nd. As for St. Benedict at Auburndale, they have also already played their next contest, a 3-0 loss against Hutchison on the 2nd.
