Holcomb waltzed into their contest on Saturday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They came out on top against the Cimarron Bluejays by a score of 2-0. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent victory being a 2-0 win on Thursday.

Holcomb easily took the second set, but they let things get interesting in the other. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-12.

Malia Ruda paced Holcomb's offense, picking up seven kills. Ruda got some help from Bella Galliart and her 16 assists. Makayla Tolbert controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Cimarron's loss came despite strong showings from Kynlee Frink and Lyndi Johnson. Frink had 16 digs and one assist, while Johnson had four digs. Johnson also served an ace, marking her first of the season.

Holcomb's victory bumped their record up to 14-2. As for Cimarron, their loss ended a four-match streak of away wins and brought them to 10-5.

Holcomb wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-1 defeat against Lakin on the 27th. As for Cimarron, they have also already played their next match, a 2-0 win against Hugoton on the 27th.
