Baseball Recap: Pinnacle Comes Up Short

Pinnacle came into their game on Monday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 18-4 to the Tintic Miners. The Panthers have struggled against the Miners recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Brody Howell was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-3 with one triple, one stolen base, and one run. The team also got some help courtesy of Domonick Hiutt, who went 1-for-2 with two stolen bases.

Pinnacle now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Tintic, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-4.

Looking ahead, Pinnacle will be playing at home against Wayne at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Panthers' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Badgers have averaged an impressive 8.8 runs per game this season. As for Tintic, they will square off against American Heritage at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
