Football Recap: Devine Takes Loss Despite Strong Performances from KARTER BROWN and ENOCH HALL

There was early excitement for Devine after they claimed the first score on Friday, but it was Bandera who ended up claiming the real prize. The Warhorses / Arabians took a 21-14 hit to the loss column at the hands of the BULLDOGS. The Warhorses / Arabians were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the BULLDOGS apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.

Devine's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of ENOCH HALL, who gained 187 total yards and a touchdown, and KARTER BROWN, who rushed for 54 yards and one score.

Devine's defeat was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 3-6. As for Bandera, the win keeps them at an undefeated 8-0.

Coincidentally, Devine and Bandera will both be playing San Antonio Memorial the next time they take the field. The BULLDOGS will host the Minutemen at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, while the Warhorses / Arabians will head out to face them at 7:00 p.m. on November 7.
