Softball Recap: Gibraltar Comes Up Short

Gibraltar kicked off their season on the road on Friday and hit a couple of potholes. They lost 16-6 to the Columbus Catholic Dons. Sadly, the loss continues a streak the team started last season, making it ten in a row.

Gibraltar saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Pamela Prescott, who scored a run while going 1-for-2.

Gibraltar wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 20-5 defeat against Lake Mills on the 5th. Columbus Catholic has also already played their next contest (against Florence), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
