Presbyterian Christian won the last time they faced St. Joseph Catholic and things went their way on Friday too. The Bobcats came out on top against the Bruins by a score of 5-1. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Bobcats.

Tyner Flynt spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered only one earned run on four hits and racked up 13 Ks. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in four consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Aaron Alston was excellent, scoring two runs and stealing two bases while going 2-for-4. That's the most hits he has posted since back in March. The team also got some help courtesy of Brennon Thoms, who went 2-for-4 with two stolen bases and one RBI.

Presbyterian Christian's record is now 14-10. As for St. Joseph Catholic, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost 11 of their last 14 games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-13 record this season.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Presbyterian Christian beat St. Joseph Catholic by a score of 10-0 later that day.
