Basketball Game Preview: West Albany Bulldogs vs. South Albany Redhawks

The West Albany Bulldogs are taking a road trip to take on the South Albany Redhawks at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. West Albany knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past ten contests -- so hopefully South Albany likes a good challenge.

Last Friday, West Albany didn't have too much breathing room in their game against Silverton, but they still walked away with a 76-71 victory. The win continues a trend for the Bulldogs in their matchups with the Foxes: they've now won four in a row.

Crescent Valley typically has all the answers at home, but on Friday South Albany proved too difficult a challenge. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 52-49 victory over the Raiders.

South Albany's win was their sixth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 12-5. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 67.8 points over those games. As for West Albany, their record now sits at 13-6.

West Albany and South Albany were neck-and-neck in their previous matchup back in January, but West Albany came up empty-handed after a 56-55 loss. Can West Albany avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
