Softball Recap: East Sac County Comes Up Short

After soaring to 12 runs the game before, East Sac County was a bit more limited in their contest on Saturday. They came up short against Maple Valley-Anthon-Oto/Charter Oak-Ute, falling 14-1. The Raiders haven't had much luck with Maple Valley-Anthon-Oto/Charter Oak-Ute recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

East Sac County's loss dropped their record down to 8-4. As for Maple Valley-Anthon-Oto/Charter Oak-Ute, the win got them back to even at 8-8.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. East Sac County will head out to take on Newell-Fonda at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. The Mustangs' pitching crew has only allowed 3.7 runs per game this season, so the Raiders' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Maple Valley-Anthon-Oto/Charter Oak-Ute, they will take on River Valley at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
