Softball Recap: Southern Columbia Area Comes Up Short

Southern Columbia Area was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a 7-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Hughesville Spartans. The Tigers were not able to make up for their loss to the Spartans from their previous meeting back in May of 2024.

Southern Columbia Area's defeat dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Hughesville, the win was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record up to 7-1.

Looking ahead, Southern Columbia Area will be playing at home against Loyalsock Township at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Hughesville, they will take on Montoursville at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
