Valery Coello-Alamo made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and scored a run and stole two bases while going 2-for-3.

Meanwhile, Friday just wasn't the day for Cedar Key's offense. They lost 14-0 to Bronson on Friday. The Sharks have struggled against the Eagles recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive lost meeting.

Cedar Key's loss dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Ocala Christian, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-6.

Ocala Christian came out on top in a nail-biter against Cedar Key when the teams last played back in March of 2024, sneaking past 11-10. The rematch might be a little tougher for Ocala Christian since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
