Basketball Recap: Dynamic Duo of Kellen Burroughs and Cajohn Howard Lead Iroquois to Victory

Iroquois won the last time they faced General McLane and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Iroquois Braves snuck past the General McLane Lancers with a 62-58 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Braves.

Iroquois was led to victory by Cajohn Howard and Kellen Burroughs. Howard went 7 of 11 from beyond the arc en route to 31 points, while Burroughs dropped a double-double on 16 points and 14 boards. With that strong performance, Burroughs is now averaging an impressive 8.2 rebounds per game. Orlando Brown was another key player, putting up six points.

Iroquois is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 7-12 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 54.5 points per game. As for General McLane, their loss was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 5-14.
