Countryside had won eight straight games and Corey Perlin did his part to make it nine on Wednesday. The Countryside Cougars walked away with a 64-53 victory over the Southeast Seminoles thanks in part to Perlin, who dropped a double-double with 26 points and ten boards. The contest was his third in a row with at least 15 points.

Countryside's win bumped their record up to 19-6. As for Southeast, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 13-11.

Coming up, Countryside will face off against Clearwater at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. One thing working in Clearwater's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last four matches. Southeast does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
