After a string of four wins, Round Rock's good fortune finally ran out on Saturday. They fell just short of the Northwest Texans by a score of 2-1.

Parker Featherstone paced Round Rock's offense, picking up 12 kills. Featherstone got some help from Aubrey Goode and her 20 assists. Finally, Kerrington Thornton kept Round Rock's defense grounded, leading the team with two blocks.

Round Rock's defeat dropped their record down to 7-3. As for Northwest, the victory was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record up to 7-1.

Round Rock wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Liberty Hill on the 16th. As for Northwest, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against New Braunfels on the 16th.
