Softball Recap: Willow Canyon Wildcats vs. Centennial Coyotes

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Canyon View, Willow Canyon was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They came out on top against the Centennial Coyotes by a score of 9-5. The Wildcats haven't had any issues with the Coyotes recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive win against them.

Easton Spriggs was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She struck out six batters over seven innings while giving up three earned (and two unearned) runs off eight hits. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than two walks in six consecutive appearances. She was also stellar in the batter's box, firing off two home runs, three runs, and three RBI while going 3-for-4. Those two home runs gave her a new career-high.
