Volleyball Preview: Broomfield Eagles vs. Monarch Coyotes
Broomfield is 8-2 against Monarch since October of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Eagles will take on the Coyotes at 6:30 p.m. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
It was a Battle of the Birds when Broomfield faced off against Frederick on Thursday. The Eagles came out on top against the Golden Eagles by a score of 3-1.

The Coyotes were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Knights on Thursday for which the team can thank Singh, who had 11 digs. She has been hot, having posted ten or more digs the last eight times she's played.
Monarch never let Fairview on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 25-22, 25-21.
Monarch has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-2 record this season. As for Broomfield, they picked up their first home win, bumping their record up to 3-8.
Broomfield took their victory against Monarch in their previous matchup back in October of 2024 by a conclusive 3-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Eagles since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
