Football Recap: Greater Johnstown Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Greater Johnstown extended their losing streak (dating back to last season) to ten on Friday, dropping them down to 0-4. They came up short against the Central Cambria Red Devils, falling 35-14. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last five times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Despite the loss, Greater Johnstown still got an impressive performance from Stephon Hill-Goodman, who picked up 134 receiving yards and a pair of TDs.

As for Central Cambria, the victory got them back to even at 2-2. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for they considering their 13-point performance the contest before.

It was another big night for Ryan Chappell, who rushed for 206 yards and three scores while picking up 9.4 yards per carry. His rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his third straight game with at least 206 rushing yards. The team also got some help courtesy of Mason Pittsinger, who threw for 126 yards and a pair of touchdowns while completing 80% of his passes.

Greater Johnstown didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 24-6 win against Westmont Hilltop on the 19th. As for Central Cambria, they have also already played their next match, a 36-0 defeat against Penn Cambria on the 19th.
