Soccer Recap: Junction City/St. Xavier Takes a Loss

Junction City/St. Xavier was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They lost 8-0 to the Hayden Wildcats. If Junction City/St. Xavier were looking for revenge after losing 9-0 to Hayden when the teams met back in April of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Junction City/St. Xavier's loss dropped their record down to 0-8. As for Hayden, their win bumped their record up to 2-3.

When Junction City/St. Xavier and Hayden next hit the pitch, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. The Bluejays will square off against Bishop Carroll and their six-game winning streak on Friday. Meanwhile, Hayden will try to stop St. James Academy's eight-game winning streak when they meet at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
