Softball Recap: Agape Christian Knights vs. Galatia/Thompsonville Bearcats

Agape Christian was the 4-1 winner over Galatia/Thompsonville when they last played one another back in May of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. The Agape Christian Knights fell 8-4 to the Galatia/Thompsonville Bearcats on Tuesday. Agape Christian has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

For Galatia/Thompsonville's part, Emma Stricklin spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned (and three unearned) runs on three hits and racked up nine Ks.

On the hitting side, Kyra Blades and Kailyn Kahl did most of the damage at the plate: Blades scored three runs while going 3-for-4, while Kahl went 3-for-4 with five RBI and a double. Another player making a difference was Lanie Williams, who scored two runs while getting on base in two of her four plate appearances.
