Softball Recap: Holton-Arms Takes a Loss

The home team had won the previous six meetings between Holton-Arms and Potomac School, and Potomac School kept the tradition alive. Holton-Arms fell just short of Potomac School by a score of 5-4 on Tuesday. The defeat continues a trend for Holton-Arms in their meetings with Potomac School: they've now lost eight in a row.

Holton-Arms' loss dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Potomac School, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Holton-Arms is set to take on their familiar foe Flint Hill at 4:15 p.m. on the 24th. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (Holton-Arms 2.2, Flint Hill 1.5) so any runs scored will be well earned. Meanwhile, Potomac School will challenge rival National Cathedral at 4:15 p.m. on Thursday.
