William Monroe posted their biggest victory since December 3, 2024 on Monday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Covenant Christian Academy Golden Eagles 64-34. The win was familiar territory for the Dragons who have now won five matches in a row.

Several Golden Eagles players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Ryan Candland, who posted 14 points. That was a full 41.2% of Covenant Christian Academy's points, marking the seventh time in a row he's put up more than a third of the team's points. Brandon Alibaruho was another key player, putting up ten points.

William Monroe pushed their record up to 16-2 with the victory, which was their fifth straight on the road. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 58.4 points per game. As for Covenant Christian Academy, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost five of their last six games, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-7 record this season.
