Carey had to skate by with only a one-set margin when they last took the court, which might have inspired the three-set drubbing they dealt Bucyrus on Thursday. The Blue Devils were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Redmen. That three set margin sets a new team best for the Blue Devils this season.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Carey took every set by at least 12 points. The final score came out to 25-11, 25-13, 25-11.

Rylie Stoops paced Carey's offense, picking up ten kills. Stoops got some help from McKinnley Kessler and her 15 assists.

Carey now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Bucyrus, their defeat dropped their record down to an identical 3-2.
