Basketball Recap: Evansville Day's Win Ends Six-Game Losing Streak at Home

There's no place like home for Evansville Day, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They secured a 58-53 W over the Evansville Christian Eagles on Tuesday. The win was some much needed relief for Evansville Day as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

Evansville Day's victory ended a six-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 3-12. As for Evansville Christian, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-12 record this season.

Evansville Day and Evansville Christian could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Indiana Rankings. Evansville Day (ranked 407th) will meet Wood Memorial (ranked 133rd) at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Similarly, Evansville Christian will take on Bloomfield at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday down 155 places (295 vs. 140).
