Baseball Recap: Navajo Prep's Loss Ends Seven-Game Winning Streak on the Road

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Navajo Prep can now relate to. They came up short against the West Las Vegas Dons on Friday, falling 11-0. The Eagles were red-hot at the plate heading into the game (they scored no less than ten runs in the seven matches prior), but the Dons' pitchers proved too tough.

Navajo Prep saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jashyro Bileen, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base. Bileen is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last nine games he's played.

Navajo Prep's loss ended a seven-game streak of away wins and brought them to 13-14. As for West Las Vegas, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 17-7.

While Navajo Prep had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
