Basketball Recap: La Center Takes a Loss

La Center was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They took a 40-23 bruising from the King's Way Christian Knights. While losing is never fun, the Wildcats can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Washington basketball rankings (they are ranked 279th, while the Knights are ranked 127th).

La Center's defeat dropped their record down to 6-12. As for King's Way Christian, they are on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 11 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 13-3 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. La Center will host Kalama at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for King's Way Christian, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Fort Vancouver at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
