Bishop Gorman waltzed into their match on Thursday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They strolled past the Silverado Skyhawks with points to spare, taking the game 65-51. Given the Gaels' advantage in MaxPreps' Nevada basketball rankings (they are ranked first, while the Skyhawks are ranked 30th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Bishop Gorman has also been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine games, which provided a nice bump to their 21-5 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 75.0 points per game. As for Silverado, the defeat snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 9-16 record.
