Baseball Recap: Thomas-Fay-Custer Comes Up Short

Thomas-Fay-Custer was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They came up short against the Leedey Bison, falling 12-2. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bison this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 11-0 last Thursday.

Thomas-Fay-Custer's loss dropped their record down to 7-7. As for Leedey, the victory got them back to even at 8-8-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Thomas-Fay-Custer will welcome Union City at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Leedey, they will host Canute at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. The Trojans' pitching crew has only allowed 3.8 runs per game this season, so the Bison's hitters will have their work cut out for them.
