Soccer Game Preview: Young Audiences vs. Archbishop Shaw

For the first time this season, Young Audiences will have a chance to prove themselves in a conference matchup. They are taking a road trip to challenge the Archbishop Shaw Eagles at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Archbishop Shaw took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Young Audiences, who comes in off a win.

Young Audiences is headed in fresh off scoring the most goals they have all season. They never let Assumption get on the board and left with an 8-0 victory on Friday.

Meanwhile, while it was all tied up 1-1 at halftime, Archbishop Shaw was not quite Riverdale's equal in the second half on Wednesday. They fell just short of the Rebels by a score of 2-1. Archbishop Shaw haven't had much luck with Riverdale recently, as the team has come up short the last seven times they've met.

Archbishop Shaw's loss dropped their record down to 4-3-1. As for Young Audiences, their win bumped their record up to 2-3.

Young Audiences suffered a grim 8-0 defeat to Archbishop Shaw in their previous matchup back in January. Can the Yacs avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
