Basketball Recap: Bastrop Takes a Loss

Bastrop was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They received a blow as they fell 56-39 to Canyon Lake.

Bastrop's loss dropped their record down to 6-8. As for Canyon Lake, their victory bumped their record up to 9-7.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Bastrop will be home for the holidays to greet Taylor at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Canyon Lake, they will host Randolph at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams are headed into the matchup with plenty of momentum (Canyon Lake has won three straight at home, while Randolph won three straight on the road), something that'll have to change.
