Volleyball Recap: Leroy Takes a Loss

Leroy entered their matchup against Millry on Wednesday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Bears fell 3-1 to the Wildcats. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Bears of the 3-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-11, 22-25, 25-23.

Leroy's loss was their first in the region, dropping their region record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 5-2. As for Millry, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-3.

Leroy didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-1 defeat against Sweet Water on the 11th. As for Millry, they have also already played their next game, a 3-0 victory against Fruitdale on the 11th.
