Baseball Recap: Revere Takes a Loss

Revere was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They took a 5-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Buckeye Bucks.

Revere got a good showing from Jake Diaz, who pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Diaz has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than one hit in three consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Ang Levak made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with two doubles, one run, and one RBI.

Revere's defeat dropped their record down to 8-5. As for Buckeye, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 6-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Revere will welcome Roosevelt at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Buckeye, they will be playing at home against Westlake at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
