Basketball Game Preview: Sunnyside Grizzlies vs. Pasco Bulldogs

The Sunnyside Grizzlies will venture away from home to take on the Pasco Bulldogs at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Pasco took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on Sunnyside, who comes in off a win.

Sunnyside is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They simply couldn't be stopped on Saturday as they easily beat Wenatchee 78-36.

Meanwhile, Pasco was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their 24th straight defeat dating back to last season. They took a blow against Kamiakin, falling 77-45. The Bulldogs were down 59-33 at the end of the third quarter, and things only got worse from there.

Pasco's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Sunnyside, the victory got them back to even at 2-2.

Everything came up roses for Sunnyside against Pasco in their previous meeting back in December of 2023, as the squad secured a 76-36 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Sunnyside since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
