Volleyball Recap: Desert Mountain Takes a Loss

After flying high against Mountain Pointe on Tuesday, Desert Mountain came back down to earth. The Wolves lost 3-0 to the Horizon Huskies on Thursday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Huskies this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in September.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 25-14, 25-21.

Desert Mountain has been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last eight contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 11-22 record this season. As for Horizon, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 18-10.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Desert Mountain is set to take on their familiar foe Mountain Pointe at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Horizon will face off against rival Notre Dame Prep at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
