Basketball Game Preview: Diagonal Maroons vs. Mormon Trail Saints

Diagonal hasn't had much luck against Mormon Trail recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Diagonal Maroons will look to defend their home court against the Mormon Trail Saints.

Diagonal is headed into Friday's contest looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their sixth straight game on Tuesday. The matchup between them and Moulton-Udell didn't end well, with Diagonal falling 68-51. One positive for the Maroons, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.

Meanwhile, Mormon Trail posted their biggest victory since February 5, 2024 on Monday. They blew past Moulton-Udell, posting a 78-51 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Saints.

Diagonal's defeat dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Mormon Trail, they now have a winning record of 5-4.
