Basketball Recap: Navarro Comes Up Short

Navarro was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 30th straight defeat dating back to last season. They took a blow against the Crockett Cougars, falling 65-30. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Cougars this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 85-51 back in January.

Navarro's loss dropped their record down to 0-25. As for Crockett, with the victory, they broke their four-game losing streak and moved their record to 8-21.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Navarro will take on rival Anderson at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Crockett is set to challenge their familiar foe Liberal Arts & Science Academy - Austin at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
