Basketball Game Preview: West Creek Coyote vs. Whitehaven Tigers

Having just played yesterday, the West Creek Coyote will head out on the road to face off against the Whitehaven Tigers at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in West Creek's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last three matches.

West Creek will bounce into Friday's game after beating Rossview, who they had gone 1-8 against in their nine prior meetings. Everything went West Creek's way against Rossview on Thursday as West Creek made off with a 68-48 victory. While the Coyote didn't have the best season last year (they finished 11-14), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

Meanwhile, Whitehaven faced Houston in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. Whitehaven took a 74-63 hit to the loss column at the hands of Houston.

West Creek's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 6-2. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 70.7 points per game. As for Whitehaven, their defeat ended a seven-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 7-2.
